Sometimes I look at lists of my favourite albums and wonder if I am too much of a stereotype of the RateYourMusic user. While it is true that I browse Pitchfork, RYM, and NME religiously, I also promise I have some of my own opinions. This is a quick post to lay out some albums I think are incredibly good but are typically reviewed less well. These are not obscure albums by any means, but albums I think deserve more critical aclaim.

Paramore - Paramore

Paramore’s noisy, energetic, and deepy angsty self-titled is headlined by the blockbuster Aint it fun and Still into You - for good reason. These powerful tracks completely anchor not just this album but early 2010s pop rock as a whole.
